Electronic trance. Not your crunchy herbal rave shit, this is trance from before it became a brand name. Some tracks so intensely beautiful the others sound bland in comparison, everything can be played. Minimal with pronounced dub influences. Apparently also "micro-house".
Recomended: 3,4,9,10.
(1)and(2) similar, ambient house. Too long and repetitive, just a warmup for the album.
**(3)Faster with varying beats and an undertone of melody. Constantly changes direction. Very dub.
**(4)Deep, heavy trance. Beautiful.
(5)Echoey bird calls, helicopter sounds, very minimal.
(6)Fuller sound, as though Gys suddenly discovered all the FX buttons. Uses full range of sound from treble to base, machine gun noises, crackle and feedback. A bit too long and too busy.
(7)More of the same (as track 6)
(8)Faster beat, almost up-tempo, catchy. Sounds like Orbital.
**(9)Faster punctuated clip-clop electronic. Beats of all descriptions.
**(10)Swelling and melodious, some disjointed distorted bits. Interesting.
(11)Bread and butter electronica.
