Acoustic guitar and plenty of it from someone who must practice all day. Often when describing acoustic fingerstyle guitar I'll call it "Fahey-esque" to give people an idea of the genre. Well, this is not only acoustic guitar, it really is Fahey's style! even #8 for late fahey…. more minimal/repetitive though. great playing.

.lots of fingerwork, and some of the rolls are flamenco style, though this is for thinking not dancing, picks up pace, minor key
..driving rhythm, minor key
.quiet perc intro, mellower playing than the first two, some thumping drums, a quiet urgent part near the end
.fast and quiet, kinda minimal
.very slow start, builds, tricky melody
.straight ahead tune, calexico-ish
.like #2 but shorter. has a false start.
8. long quiet intro. slide guitar, never turns into a song, just sounds
.laid back, bluesy
.opus, quiet intro, more like steffan basho junghans in the minimal trills, some percussion with strange rhythms halfway thru, hypnotic
.minory key tun, mid-fast, picks up the pace, nice tying up for the CD
