Local weirdo. Noisey rock with a decidedly funky edge, reminds me of some of the better funky noise rock of the mid 80’s (elements of Skinny Puppy, Will to Live, Big Stick). But also reminds me a lot of recent kzsu faves Ape Has Killed Ape with regards to use of irreverent fuzzed out vocs. Elements of basic rock in here too, heavy, head banging feel, some epic long stoned-ass noise guitar fests. Still, irreverence abounds, great stuff (I only wish a tenth of the local stuff mailed to us was a tenth this good).
1) noisey clanging old school industrial rock weirdness
2) very brief reprise
3) heavy funky beat, rockin
4) brief phone sample
5) another reprise of sorts, instrumental
6) riff used in next song
7) funky ass rock, cool
8) “field recording”, dog barking, etc
9) fun feel, upbeat
10) brief riff
11) heavy when-the-levee-breaks drum beat, feel, instrumental, cool
12) brief
13) very quiet intro, more “field recordings”
14) quiet inro and outro, plodding noise rock
15) funky heavy rock beat followed by guitar noise fest 16) FCCs- argument followed by long ass solo noise guitar opus, something you might hear Chief play late at night
17) strange analog synth work, trippy
18) brief song starts, then ends…there may be a “hidden track” in there but the cd player I’m using wont fast forward so I’m leaving it up to you to discover it.
