Great mix., I was expecting all truck driving or country western but there's variety here. It's all good. Documents a weekly alt-country theme night at a Brixton UK bar. +1. Duet with a country guy and an Irish guy, with a little blues harp, nice contrasts! sweet reminiscing of touring 'round and playing to near empty bars. +2.tabla and steel guitar! starts off sounding Indian & ends up like, uh, Deliverance? nice contrasts! +3. mello downer pop. intro has funky guitar effects (heavy wah), 4.harmonica & guitar intro. Rock which reminds me a little of Sinhead Oconner probably because an Irish woman sings. +5.acoustic guitar, bass, mandolin, fuzzy male vocal, sweet folky pop +6.alt-bluegrass-zydeco with off-key male vox 7.weird noisey indie-pop freak, sounds like the previous track filtered 8.acoustic guitar, over-pretty 9.ok alt-country, male vox, mid-tempo 10.slow slightly bluesy alt-country, nice fem vocal 11.more bluesy, somewhat aggressive fem vox, underproduced. 12.slow solo acoustic guitar & male vocal, simple & nice. violin later +13. instrumental. harp? nice mellow trip-hoppy lounge 14nick cave lite +15.happy old-style western, peppy fem vocals 16. drums like U2 | ||
