Slow Poisoners -- Live on Press and Release Local psych/indie pop -- live on Press and Release. Somewhat of a throwback to spacey 70s glam-pop with warbly Bowie-esque vocals and strange poetic lyrics about dream sequences and other surrealisms . Most of the tracks have short vocal intros introducing the songs PICS: 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12 1. legal ID 2. midtempo pop, catchy chorus 3. quicker, surrealist lyrics, big guitar riffs 4. slower, more trippy lyrics, 5. creepy lyrics, good guitar, 6. faster, catchy guitar -- reminiscent of Bowie -- good 7. slower, about waiting for the subway 8. poppy, about bizarre dreams 9. fast rocker, gospel influences -- good! 10. goofy rock, warbly lyrics, about animals that start with "A" 11. swing-y rock beat, catchy riffs -- my favorite track 12. slow, dreamy, weird | ||
