This is great stuff from an (experimental band from Boston? That’s all I got from the web). The only bad thing I have to see about this EP is: it is too short. This music is unclassifiable. Female vocals, rather theatrical, powerful. The four tracks display an incredible range of styles while keeping the same identity throughout the album. All the tracks are great, yet 4 is instrumental and thus less interesting (lacking the peculiar vocals).
.Quite the opening track! Slow tempo; Same three dissonant notes repeated on the keyboard, Phillip Glass style. Guitar noise in the background, and the eerie vocals mentions above… Play when you’re in the mood for something unique.
.More accessible, avant-folk piece. Acoustic guitar, same vocal style. Slow/mid tempo. Play any time!
.Slow, quiet, mesmerizing. Play any time… as long as it is dark outside.
.Instrumental – quiet, slow. Repeated bass bar, guitar and synth noise in the background.
