A solo piano session, showing off Sun Ra's deep love of traditional jazz, although it veers into spacey territory quite a bit. Some nice old standards, some Ra originals, a couple of improvisations. The fun part is that, at a casual listen, you can't always tell which are which. Every track is great.

*- Stormy improv with some nice jazz moments and some ferocious low-note thumping
- Rolling and bluesy
- Snappy boogie-woogie
*- Classic Ra piece w/cool low-note riff, lots of fooling around
- Mid/fast splashy; includes a big loud stormy bit
*- Happy struttin' blues, not much weirdness
*- Dark, scattery, even violent. Turns into a jaunty standard.
- Soulful Sun Ra song w/vocals. Pretty.
- Jittery jazz feel, with low loud explosions later
- Regal ballroom jazz, shifts thorough multiple moods
*- Grand midtempo; gets into a very pretty two-chord pattern
