Jesus Christ. RAWK! Blood, spit and sweat. RAWK! Raucous, tight, full of testosterone. This shit's SO FUCKING GOOD, it makes me wanna go
wild. These guys are so GOOD and POWERFUL, they will take you back to the mid-70s New York proto-punk scene. Imagine the rawness of the Dead Boys and the Voidoids married to the catchiness of the Ramones and the Dolls. Throw some seminal Brit punk (the Saints, the Clash) and CA punk (Angry Samoans) in the mix. This is good ole balls out early-/mid-70s rawk'n'roll, the way it's always meant to be heard. Riotous, pure and uncut. Set your amps to 11 and hail fucking rock'n'roll.
PLAY: 4, 6, 9, 10, 1, 3 (all good)
1. 1-2-3... guitar/bass chops come down like rolling punches
2. Melodic punk rock riff. Catchy vocals. Reminds me of the Angry Samoans
3. Doesn't this guitar remind you of the Saints track "(I'm) Stranded"?
4. Oh my GAWD. Bo Diddey-ish intro. I am in tears! I'm in heaven! This makes me GO WILD!!! Fuck! This bass kicks ASS!!! Instrumental base with riotous "ooh-baby" verses repeated
5. Slow/mid-temp. Sentimental pop melodies and verse. Sloppy and laid back
6. Another orgasmic groovy RAWKing piece. Instrumental base, "yeah" repeated throughout. Check the synth out. YEAH! Fucking Awesome! I think I feel a little Joe Strummer and the Clash spirit coming through
7. Punchy CA "oi-oi" punk. Reminds me of Rancid 8. Mid-tempo verse, rawking chorus. Melancholic lead guitar notes. Very cute and nice!
9. Yeah... on with the rage! Intense, angry, slashy, serious!
10. Smoky, mid-70s proto-punk. Sinister vocals.
11. Apocalyptic rock'n'roll. Fun!
12. "If this is love, I want my money back". Great fun break-up/divorce song. That's pure rock'n'roll wisdom. Fun rawk'n'roll.
