Solid group improvisation from a group of master musicians. They get a full, orchestrated sound, definitely much more than the sum of the four members. Even during the sparser sections, they have some voodoo that keeps the listener engaged.. something that’s certainly lacking in a lot of abstract improv.
Excellent stuff.
