Free jazz session from one of the '60s European veterans, featuring piano and violin. Many tracks are composed, but they all end up in that untethered, abstract kind of space. A busy sound overall, but with lots of restraint -- more like an avant-chamber-music session than a free blowout. Well, except the first track, maybe.

- Vicious, with scrabbly piano. Starts slow.
- Midtempo drunken march, whimsical.
- Strong session; starts and ends with delicate piano
- Mid/slow, low-key
- Nice shuffling theme, close to regular jazz!
- Busy; lots of small sounds
- Gets faster/louder near the end
- Calm, flowing
- Slow. Nice bowed-bass groove in the middle
- Mad bass screeching and wordless vocal bablle (quiet start)
- Mid/slow, serious chamber/classical feel.
