All the tracks are a delight to the ears. Very melodious and a balanced confluence of music and vocals. The instruments – clarinet, sax, violin, guitar, lyre, lute, have ‘warm’ sounds. Most of the tracks are folk songs. Highly recommended.
Track 1: Instrumental, a beautiful piece. A folk dance song. One of my top favorites.
Track 2: Slow, soothing start, slowly picks up at 1:30 and becomes a fast folk dance song. Romanian in origin.
Track 3: A soft song. Light strumming on the guitar or the lute. Vocals soar in parts.
Track 4, 8: Mainly vocals with some music. Like a marching song.
Track 5: Very low tempo, bass vocals. Mystical. Beautiful violin contributes to the sounds.
Track 6: Mid tempo, folk song. Male vocals. Leading and chorus.
Track 7: The humming is very trance-like and mystical. A bass and higher pitch vocals come together.
Track 9: Slow, Simon and Garfunkel like.
Track 10: Fast tempo, folk music. Medley. Flute, clarinet dominating. Another favorite.
Track 11: Soft romantic track. Track 12: Greeting Sabbath, slow, lyrical, prayer.
Track 13: A campfire song with friends, as explained in the notes. Slow tempo.
Track 14: Husky vocals, like a slight breeze. Lullaby. Another fav.
Track 15: Slow with a hint of speed. Then really picks up. Instrumental. This is a favorite too.
Track 16: Fast tempo, lively song, leading vocals followed by chorus. Enjoyable.
