Ki Music
Insanely eclectic electronica compilation. Everything from house, electro, breaks, R&B, and even Reggae. At times, comes off as very cheesy and most vocals add little to the cuts. Everything is lighthearted though, and a lot of this stuff has good humor value. Play: 3, 9, 16 For Humor: 6, 10 FCC: 7?
1)5 second vocal sample 2)Catchy female vocal melody with trip dub beat and various Indian instruments. 3)Starts with classical music, drops an up-tempo breakbeat. Some vocal samples a couple minutes in. 4)Ultra-minimal stripped down electro beat with a drowning vocal sample and some dude who keeps saying “rock on” 5)Sounds like Rammstein except with female vocals. Fast repeated guitar chord and hard simple beat. 6)Bollywood break track with a girl who says lots of random stuff about India. Really simple tabla beat and various other percussion. Ridiculous almost to the point of being offensive. Play only for campy-ness! 7)Jamaican style rapping of clearly sexual nature. Hardcore beat, with syncopated tempo and various world instruments. 8)Underworld style D&B breaks with soft synths and a guy who keeps yelping. 9)Electro dance cut with piano melody and vocals. Worth playing. 10)Mediocre drum and bass beat with ridiculous vocals about samurai. VERY campy. Out of nowhere, the vocalist starts doing Indian vocal percussion. Someone is a bit confused! 11)Electro rock track with dark gothic feel. 12)Another old school electro track. Cheesy vocals sort of spoil the feeling.13)Decent R&B cut. Buttery vocals and a really mellow beat with piano to give it a jazzy feel. 14)A straight ahead rock-y breakbeat with clutzy female rapping. 15)Very droning ambient trip track. Vocals fade in and out at places. 16)Electro dance feel, very upbeat with catchy synth hook. Annoying female vocals saying “I need help” sort of spoil the mood, in my opinion. 17)A romantic rock ballad. What is this doing on here?? 18)Uptempo electro rock with a montage of goofy vocals. 19)Straight ahead funkified dance house cut. A bit on the corny side, but definitely fun. 20)Happy reggae track about being optimistic. 21)Spacey dub cut with muted horns and various samples.
