Ten years ago a friend of mine termed Euro dance music "Czechno" and that was the word that came to mind when I heard the first notes of this CD from Finn Sami Koivikko. It's got the beat, a little on the fast side, thumping club music. 1.old drum machine hi hat hits and kick. cheap generic synth 2.some dissonant notes, a little buzziness +3.sparse bloopy intro, takes a minute for beat to start, on the ambient side +4.nice echo. also on the ambient side, fuller sound than 3 5.medium chill 6.mostly a steady beat with a quiet noises, melody starts halfway through 7.beats trip a little near end +8.odd bass progression, harkens back to better 80s music 9.nonsensical notes 10.some backwards synth over the bass | ||
