DEERHOOF - Milkman (5rc)
Yes, the Hoof are back and they just keep getting better and better. Local Avant-noise-prog-pop-sludgers are the best! Milkman finds the Hoof more realized in sound and creativity, more produced and more mature than ever. Deerhoof can go from a beautiful pop melody and pretty keyboards into chaos in matter of seconds. All hail our saviors. ÐtHE bawd oF eUPHONy

**1- (4:22) Pop lick turns into Genesis via Lamb Lies Down era. PHAT!
**2- (2:58) No wave stomping Synth groove. Awesome!
*3- (4:00) electro drums pop along with real drums. Almost radiohead. Delicious
**4- (4:12) Classic Hoof rocker. Drop groove and continuous pulse. Prog-rock?
5- (1:22) experimental bleeps with Fem Vox
**6- (4:00) awesome slow in-unision groove. Builds weirder and weird into exploding rocker!
*7- (3:30) straight rocker, drops out and gets interesting
*8- (2:20) Odd. Keys driven, open, uplifting but dark. Very cool.
¥9- (2:22) happy melody low-fi, busts hard into rocker
*10 (2:00) bass and drum carry rippin guitar melody. Onslaught!
11 (2:12) organ and vox w/ electro beat. Piano interlude
