Caesura -- Wallpaper the Witness

GREAT post-punk/math rock from SF, lots of energy, angular, ripping guitar lines, sparse but penetrating lyrics, heavy bass lines, this stuff rocks yer socks off. all the tracks are recommended

A:
1. fast driving guitar+distortion, drum breakdown, shouted lyrics, GREAT
2. start&stop guitar at beginning, drums and bass come in later, slow/mid headbanger, fierce, quiet section toward end then guitars come back in with force
3. pulsating quiet guitar at beginning, math rock noodling, guitar blasts, eventually become post-punker with repeated guitar riffs, good
4. heavy guitar, shouted lyrics over quiet dark guitar,

B.
1. excellent stripped down guitar, bass takes over briefly , builds in intensity, slows downs at bit towards end, fades out
2. heavier sound, a bit slower, dramatic shouted lyrics, rocks,
3. fast, guitar pounding, catchy bass line, stinging trembly guitar. lyrics "shout outs for sluts/kissy kissy/sluts sluts", rocks out at end
4. great heavy heavy slow guitar line, speeds up to math rock style, returns to heavy line at end, slow dramatic ending, good
