I'm a bit torn here - I appreciate that Dani Siciliano has worked w/ some really dope people (Matthew Herbert is her husband), like Gilles Peterson, Plaid, Antipop, etc. And I like her voice. I like the songs she made, lyrics, melodies, etc. But I'm not impressed with the electro-glitch production work - mostly because I think it takes away from the quality of her vocals, rather than add to them. To me, the combination doesn't work. I think that she would do better if she did one or the other. I think the songs that were the best were the ones that were either mostly vocals (1, 2,11) or mostly electronics (5). But it's not a bad CD - it's worth it just to have the Nirvana cover.

1. Spacey & glitchy breathy vox, a sensual torch song
2. Vocal jazz trip-hop cover of Nirvana song
3. Comical song, cut & paste glitchy stuff, like a kid's song gone mad
4. Boppy broken-beat electro weirdness
5. Space-y glitchy synth interlude (slot machines?)
6. Nervy synths & catchy breathy vox
7. Wacky ballad, duet w/ Mugison & accordions at the end
8. Trippy spaced-out electro beats & sensual vox
9. Weird electro-acoustic glitchy noises; kind of an odd fit
10. Spaced-out ballad w/ comical effects
11. Mostly a vocal ballad, dramatic & sad
