Album Review
Red West

weirdo home-made stuff, synths and vocals, MIDI bedroom studio experiments from someone with the will and the tools. track listing on back actually has helpful review-like comments to complement these. Some of this I like and some of this I laugh at.
*1. mini-song. cool quiet noises, distant sound of guy in distress, then voice through effects, hard for me to understand.
*2.dissonant echoey strings at varied speeds & pitches, groaning to imitate fighting sounds, kinda fucked
3.soundtracky-sketch. Only vocal is word “cheeseburger”
4. soundtracky-sketch
*5.conventional song, funny!
6. soundtracky-sketch, like it better than the prior ones
7.long attempt at beatnik jazz. It’s prog in the middle. Reminds me of a few records I bought in the 80s
8.silent intro, some rambling speech, don’t play
9.rock song, 80’s fusion
10.snippet of song, then a complaining voice
*11.weird, a little catchy, jazzy, MIDI synths
12.so bad it’s funny for a while
13. minute long improv song, silence until T-7:58 for proggy/muzaky song, *T-3:04 is cool relaxation tape that gets silly
