Music in the “Ladysmith” tradition from this Bulawayo, Zimbabwe trio. All a capella with wonderfully tight vocal harmonies, though a few tracks use shakers, drums, and/or whistles. It’s wonderful, life-affirming music that deserves to be played. You can’t go wrong, but I especially liked the following:

1. Lightly joyful mid-tempo anthem to Africa.
4. Sweet and gentle…some lyrics in English..
5. Great vocal clicks, drum interlude, bright.
6. Warm, romantic, lyrical.
8. Talking, whistles, clicks, a busy, intricately harmonized sound.
9. Relaxed & warm song in praise of mothers.
10. Powerful gospel track w/a sense of melancholy.
11. Interesting round song w/a catchy mid-tempo melody.
12. Wonderful deep harmonies, clicks, bright lead vocals. Great.
13. More uptempo w/drums & a happy feeling.
15. Mid-tempo ode to Bulawayo.
16. Clicks, call-response vocals, a nice, relaxed thing.
