Joanna Newsom - Milk-Eyed Men (Drag City)
Uniquely voiced harp strumming oddity from San Francisco, Joanna Newsom creates beautiful avant-folk-esque songs. Her voices is strange and beautiful, imagine the innocence of Bjork melded with the maturity of Billy Holiday. Her harp playing is unlike anything IÍve ever heard. Songs are very minimal in instrumentation but with that each song still seems fresh and different from the previous. PLAY THIS!
