An authentic document of the coin-operated musical instruments found at the Musee Mechanique in San Francisco, right down to the sound of nickels being dropped in to start the machines for each recording. These machines are getting up around 100 years old now, so expect a lot of player piano style ragtime, Sousa marches, and other old school Americana. The machines are much more than player pianos though, many have organ sounds, marimba and other percussion as well. There should be songs familiar to pretty much everyone here, so dig in (and be sure not to miss Laughing Sal at the end)!
