On this disc, Parker augments his long-standing trio with Barry Guy and Paul Lytton to include an array of electronic musicians. The idea is to manipulate the real time playing of the trio with samples of past performances to get a seamless portrait of the group without time getting in the way. An interesting idea, and it actually works. The trio’s quiet, clattery improv is tweaked and distorted by the electronics, sometimes subtly, sometimes drastically, to fill up the spaces in an engaging way.

1. Crashing, scraping, ghostly sax
2. Mellow violin start, then electronics slowly take over
3. Brooding and searching
4. Clicking and sweeping electronics, builds and fades
5. Busy sax builds then fades to eerie soundscape
6. Starts with dark piano soundscape, then loud group work
7. Underwater sounding electronics, bubbling and boiling
