Southern California quartet that combines Ornette-influenced writing with a penchant for abstract, purely improvised spaces.

See also Mears/Tiner/Kikuchi/Johnson Quartet (which is the same band).

1- Friendly bop swing, mid/fast
2- Abstract: light chaotic clatter, with sqeaky continual sax
3- Slow and loose
4- Brash, slow declaration. Moves into fast, wild sax jam
5- Mid/fast mechanical beat, fun. Second half more free, still swinging
6- Starts quiet, with warm trumpet and eerie sparse tapping. Moves into a slowish friendly swing.
