Veteran of Art Bears, Henry Low. Recorded with Robert Wyatt, Bill Laswell, John Zorn, ROVA. This one is theatrical with short "sideshows" of concrete between longer atmospheric pieces. Experimental avant-garde theatre. 1) sound effects, bubbles, wind, fanfare 2) slow start, tries to start breakbeat, Javanese discord 3) more musique concrete 4) kalimba, small instruments builds speed, bass tones, watery ambient & toys *5) carnival has trombone 6) chana feel, mountains and mist 7) quiet feel like 6, violin & harp *8) more melodic but still angular | ||
