Brutal Slayer-influencef tough metal-core. This is just mosh pit, tough-girl, breakdown heaven. Brutal female vocals and lots of heavy guitars that merge mosh pit hardcore with Slayer and somehow keep it exciting. Some of the best female vocals going in heavy music. This is their first album in 3 years.
**1. A minimal fade in beginning into a stop-start guitar vocal trade off. When the track gets going it has an odd rhythm and somewhat simplistic hardcore sound. Damn her vocals are good on this one.
2. Discordant beginning into melodic and catchy hardcore. They get a bit heavy later but not too metal.
**3. Opens with great gallop and almost understandable vocals. This changes into a massive mosh pit inducing breakdown. They come out of the breakdown thrashing away pretty fast. Wow! There is even a “Go!” right before heading back into another gallop. This track rules!
4. Faster thrash track. The octaves used on the guitar and the clean female vocals give this an emo feel but it’s still heavy.
5. An interesting mix of old-school betrayal hardcore and new heavy sounds. She also sings with herself using some studio trickery. She sings both clean and screamed vocals at the same time. The chorus has a gang of people doing “Woah oh oh oh” singing. You can sorta understand the fucks on this track.
**6. More obvious Slayer influence on this track.
**7. Darker slower beginning into pummeling double bass drums, guitar and screams. Gets fast.
8. The longest track. Goes from basic power chords intro to melodic hardcore. The track does get heavy and then she sings clean vocals along with the screams during the chorus. Eh…there are some discordant parts and break downs and it just seems like they threw too many ideas into one song.
9. Faster and when they get heavy the vocals are strange. Again, it is two different vocal styles at once, but one sounds somewhat demented on this track.
10. Slower, heavy, pained and pissed. There are a couple fucks.
11. Dual clean and screamed vocals again. Short and fast.
12. Full on Slayer breakdown and later in the song heavy slow hardcore breakdown.
13. Discordant, sad, but not heavy.
