If you thought for a second that Ms. Mandell had shot her load were you ever wrong. Probably her best to date, she combines all the genre stylings she’s been toying with recently for her first release in 2 years that is distinctively hers: a perfect melding of noir, smokey jazz, old western, honkey tonk, sultry, sexy and hip grinding fun. If she breaks your heart then you know you have one. If she gets you hot then you know youre human. Do not operate heavy machinery while listening. Some patients may experience alternating feelings of euphoria sadness and bliss.
