More purely mid-tempo metal getting marketed as “hardcore”. This has about as much to do with hardcore as Blink 182 has to do with punk. The lyrics are mostly non-sensecial aside from “Brown Noise” and “Sunpoison and Skin Cancer”.

Something like a mix of slowed down Lamb of God, Converge, Machine Head, recent-era Slayer, and maybe a less slick version of Pantera. Though the most prominent influence seems to be Unearth yet these doofuses can’t trudge out of the limited and shitty use of riffs and tempos that plague this album.
(1) Ambient intro with into kind of muddy jud-jud-jud and loud-ass cymbals. Some riffs sound like “South of Heaven”-era Slayer on 12 1/2 rpm.
((2)) So-so ‘METAL core’ with a weird & super-thick sound. Somewhere around uh...Lamb Of God at super slow speed, Slayer, Machine Head, and Incantation. Pretty damn boring no matter who it’s influenced by.
((3)) Sligtly better but again this just waaaay to thick on the low-end. Did he just sing “check you spelling”? Cut this song in half and they might have something.
(4) Melodic intro then more of the same as #1 except a little mid-tempo in some places but lame-ass pinch harmonics and those boring legatos go nowhere.
(((5))) I dunno why but if found that this experimental interlude was the just about the most interesting thing on the whole album. Slowed down voice of some supposed serial killer which actual & unintentionally sounds like an outtake of a skit involving Kane of the WWF.
((6)) Charging riffs (=good), unoriginal overdone ‘tough vocals (=boring), sounds like a slower & thicker version of a zillion Gothenborg & American wannabe Gothenborg bands.
((7)) Somewhat interesting interchange of riffs & vocals but alas no musical gold here and even a Chuckie Manson samples isn’t really gonna get you to musical gold much less originality (FCC: “fuckin”)
8) Vastly uninteresting acoustic guitar instrumental. Insert unused Poison/White Lion/Warrant lyrics here.
(((9))) Melodic Swedish (read; Gothenborg circa 1998-now) noodling with lots of decent Lamb of God-style crashing rythmns finally they might have something here. It drags on a bit too long but that weird “dialing the radio while on the road and sampling the loony bible thumpers” is kinda OK. Granted, this only took ‘em the whole fuckin’ album but good nonetheless.
