This album is hot! Shei Atkins is a new voice on the gospel scene and has a sound that will be widely popular for the young, R&B, hip-hop, KMEL, etc. audience. Her sound is similiar to that of Destiny's Child (don't let that scare you however! It is because she used to sing with one of the members), however it is more raw and of course the message is unmistakeable. It's about J-E-S-U-S without apology. She is definitely going to make an impact in the gospel world and I look forward to her sophomore release to see how much she grows musically and spiritually. Peace!
