This band is the illegitimate child of Deerhoof and Don Cab. In fact it features a deerhoof guitar player in the band. Mathy at times with lots of Avant-Jazz sensibility embodied by melody, noise and electronics. This band is a great marriage of sound. Lots of songs lots of depth. Reminds me of Gastr Del Sol at times I love this record, poppy at times, noisy at others. PLAY THIS –the bAWd of eUPHONY 1** Brief piano intro into full on Math assault 2 Brief bleeps 3* Deerhoofian stumbling 4** Cool piano line with odd groove and underwater feel. Cool 5** Minimal bleep and guitar. Gets more textured. Open and Odd. Very Gastr Del Sol 6* Very rocking with weaving guitar lines. Prog rock? 7 Short drum thing, odd 8** Guitars pound slow with drums. Very Patient but dirty. Explodes at end in chaos. EPIC 9 Noisy bleeps. 10 simple guitars with someone playing with a toy 11* Awesome guitar line into a rocking groove. Twisted 12 electronic weirdness short 13 Rocking weirdness. Chaotic! 14 Bee attack? Cool short 15** very dissonant guitars into rad heavy groove. INSANE! 16** Acoustic openness with sparse drums. Jazzy and Odd 17 Bells and bleeps, short 18 scratchy weirdness into xylo solo? 19** Holy Riff Batman! Indonesian pop? Fucking Cool 20** droned keys over arpegiated guitars and pump organ.
