Portland old school pop punk in the spirit of Red Kross, The Urinals, maybe some Damned, Buzzcocks. Definitely a strong pop element as defined by late 70’s, early 80’s LA hardcore. Still though, they avoid the “retro” trap and produce some genuinely fresh fun punk. Great stuff.

Most songs follow an upbeat driving hardcore recipe, so track by track is pointless (tracks 7, 8, 10, 12 are poppier than rest though, the latter two being like Ramones ballads).

FCCs: 3

My Picks: 5 (“Vietnam”), 7 (melodic, poppier, “virgin suicide”), 8 (Ramones meets Adolescents feel), 11 (drives hard)
