Mittens is a Boston-based pop band. They play mostly poppy, melodic, happy songs. These seem like kids who would share on the playground. The instrumentation is usually simple and so are their melodies. Slightly whinny vocals add a good edge to what would otherwise be too syrupy-sweet. –Chuan-Mei
