Soulful, relaxed free-jazz grooves from a sax-bass-drums trio. Nice jams based on easygoing composed riffs that lead into open-minded soloing and the occasional freak-out. Well conceived stuff from Chicago; drummer Tim Daisy is a member of the Vandermark 5. 1- Easy groove, midtempo and relaxed. 2- A bit more complex; gets into group improv that gets fierce and even psychedelic 3- Midtempo rambling groove.
