Mainstream jazz. Accessible stuff with some nicely constructed soloing. Fronted by sax and trumpet, with lots of piano that "softens" the sound a bit (especially on ECM-like tracks 2, 5, and 6). Overall friendly vibe with some fresh ideas.

The band hails from L.A. Zick is a member of the Industrial Jazz Group.

- Midtempo, Spanish tinge to the horns. Nicely open solos.
- Breezy piece featuring piano. Starts slow and heats up.
- Mid/fast with jaunty blues feel
- Happy, mid/fast, fun. Drums all over the place.
- ECM-like: Sparse and slow. Builds nicely to a dramatic end.
- Even more ECM-like: Upbeat and softish with bright piano
- Sad sax and piano. Slow.
- Upbeat mid/fast stuff, old-fashioned feel. Manic ending.
- Funky and midtempo, with a dry-snap snare beat.
- Soft smoky-lounge piece
