Album Review

Awesome noisy electrorock, female vocal fronted along the lines of Erase Errata, Sick Lipstick, other Narnack type new dissonant disjunct new-no-wave. All songs border on brutal assault, rhythms are disjunct, heavy, guitars are loud and dissonant, fem vocs are desperate and aggressive. Most songs contain a really beautifully fucked up noisy analog synth making sonic walls and waves. This reminds me of a thousand bands, not one of which I can put my finger on. That’s a good sign.

1) starts w/ nice noise, launches into heavy dissonant rocker (1:29)
2) another nice noise synth intro leads into more constant beat vocal heavy rock
3) disjunct, assault
4) wall of noise rock
5) more lush, rhythmic wall of sound, rather peppy
6) almost a toe tapper, definitely a more accessible beat than the others
7) moments of Sonic Youth, almost abstract
