Wow. To which I can only add, “wow.” You probably know this Guinean singer/songwriter/kora player from the international dancehit “Yeke Yeke.” This CD delivers wonderful percussion, flutes, kora, a wonderful female call-response chorus, and delicious vocals throughout. It’s glorious, life-affirming music that’s fresh, energetic, and unfailingly impressive. |
*1. Fast, bright, instantly catchy. Play it!
2. Relaxed and rich w/a warm energy & great vocals.
