The Malian singer-songwriter is once again surrounded by acoustic guitar, lute, kora, and balafon, but also adds a contemporary classical feel by including guests Kronos Quartet on two tracks (#5 & #10). She has a beautiful, emotionally powerful voice and can truly create an atmosphere. Watch out for one minute of silence in track 10 (actually track 10 & track 11, but only cues as 1 track).

*1. Slow & delicate w/an edge of darkness.
2. Mid/uptempo w/a galloping percussive feel.
*3. Uptempo w/great vocals…gets wild towards the end.
*4. Soaring vocal duet, strings, midtempo. Very cool..
5. Sweet vocals/strings. Warm & lyrical.
6. Quiet intro, intricate, tripping vocals, then midtempo.
*7. Fast & bright blend of perc/strings/vocals.
8. Slow and lovely guitar/vocals. Tinged with sadness.
9. Midtempo w/bright vocals/strings/perc. It grows on you.
*10. Slow intro, haunting vocals. Silence at 5:48 then at 6:57 a percussive-driven jam.
