A violin-viola-bass combination that could pass for modern chamber music. In fact, the first track is through-composed like “normal” classical. The players are part of the European free-improv scene, and most of the pieces give them space to carve out their own improvised sounds… but this might appeal more to classical music types than jazz/improv types.

- Energetic, grand. Pastoral feel; plays out like a composed classical piece.
- Perky, fast duet
- Fast and loud, gets into vicious group improv
- Fairly slow but bright
- Speedy attack levels into more subdued but fast playing, very rhythmic
- An improvised waltz. A highbrow classical shine with some thoughtful interplay
- Grand suite, fast paced, lots of action especially near the end
- Slow, sparse. A very “improv” feel
- Relatively soft, at a medium pace.
