Super-groovy bridge between classical & contemporary samba and bossa nova and between classic performers (Marcos Valle, Roberto Menescal) and newcomers (Celso Fonseca, Adriana Calcanhoto). Sophisticated, humorous, and interesting. Everything from electronica to jazz is thrown into the mix and the result is delicious. After I starred the first 6 tracks, I gave up…you can pick anything and it’ll be great. Trust me on this, I’m wiser than I look.

1. A relaxed groove w/sexy female vocals.
2. Samba electronica, both retro and contemporary. Cool.
3. Fun, funky, tastiness. Organ, programming, vox, oh yes.
4. A sexy, jazzy little bit of brightness. Yum.
5. Great blend of voices, in a quirky midtempo thing.
6. Sweet samba w/relaxed male vox. Very nice.
7. Marcos Valle’s honey-smooth vocals in a catchy dance.
8. Delicate fem.vox in a classic mostly traditional.
9. A space-age samba.
10. A sexy father-son bossa groove from the Menescals.
11. Dishy samba electronica w/yummy vocals.
