Instrumentals, has a soundtracky feel since they were written for plays. Strictly speaking this is a soundtrack collection, though most tracks are written, performed, or produced by one Anthony Barilla, and all for Houstan, Texas theatrical group Infernal Bridegroom Productions.
1. 30-sec track saying “acid rain” dramatically, then squeals (the sole vocal track)
+2, 9.accordion, Kurt Weil style
3.outdoorsy interlude gone sour. synthesized reeds & piano, off-key zither
+4.Nice marimba. Short also: 10- more marimba, slow & spacy
5.Sounds like warm up band at a genteel honky tonk.
6.14 seconds of bouncy accordian
+7.wacky bollywood style groove
+8.Nice quiet abstract guitar, with background sound of washer (last 22 seconds)
11.Synth piano plays strange looping chord progression, accordion. Then drums
12.thumb piano/music box, then 80’s art rock drama
13. violin exercise & lugubrious piano
14.midtempo filler.
15.slow, lightweight industrial
16.shimmery marimba
+17.PBS-style detective mystery music
+18. washer sound, then electric guitar damage
19.sloooow piano, drawn out organ. looong instrumental
20.thunderstorm, marimba, only 30 secs- play with next track
+21.marimba+ walking sax
22.menacing drone, then plucked guitar & somewhat atonal stuff
+23.dreamy forwards & backwards synth strings loop, piano, banjo
24.slow amateur hip-hop beat (I’ll give you a nickel if you rap to it)
+25.jittery sax loops with itself
+26.an ending. slow guitar, drums, organ. In the post-rock vein. 4/4 time but makes me sway like it’s 3/4.
+27.space rock, woohoo!
