Col. Claypool’s Bucket of Bernie Brains – The Big Eyeball in the Sky Rock-funk supergroup lays down the jams in a distinctively Claypoolian fashion. Some nice new funk work alongside the recycled Primus riffs, and this ends up as a generally solid album for the faithful. *1. Hyperfunky ode to everyone’s favorite container-crowned guitarist 2. FCC: Bad words here. An otherwise decent rock-funk track 3. Recycled Primus riff with 21st century electronics *4. Spacey med-tempo jam 5. Greasy slow rock 6. Slightly faster rock, anti-GWB rant *7.
