Dimuzio / Matmos / Wobbly – Rotate Vortex Lush, improvised ambient electronic soundscapes recorded over a couple of days. The end result is engaging and cohesive, though it’s hard to tell if that happened at the gig or if it’s the result of good post-processing or editing. Fans of any of these guys will not be disappointed. *1. Nervous, pensive pencil rattling dissolves into beat 2. Creepy and sparse *3. Hushed voices build to wall of shimmering sound 4. Creepy soundbed, “church” samples 5. Twangy, pulsing minimal beat with the sounds of spitting builds to distorto frenzy *6. Harsh bloops and drips **7.
