Dual-piano pieces combining jazz and classical ideas. Mostly it has the mood of a recital, although there's plenty of fun jazz jamming, mostly in the form of boogie-woogie basslines overlaid with speedy angular soloing.

Track 8 is my particular favorite -- a big, stormy sound with swirly chaos in the improvising.

19-22 add two saxophones (Joe Maneri and Uwe ) for a bigger, wailing sound. 19 introduces some crazy harmonies that don't mesh, a fun chaotic exercise in polytonality. Track 21 is a treat, a big cinematic composition building to a blurry sax battle. Track 22 is a fun, bluesy display played with a slow hand.

Studious -- 5, 6, 9, 11, 13, 14, 15
Fun boogie-woogie -- 3, 12
Some fast squirrelly bits -- 2, 10, 16, 18
