The band is Canadian, the music is sort of Indian/jazz/world. They funk up Indian classical standards, add some spice to a couple of jazz stadards, kind of all over the map. Some traditional tracks too. Vocals, tabla, bass, percussion and various other sounds. I’m not sure how Indian music purists will feel about it, but I was pleasantly surprised.

1. Relaxed sensual, picks up a bit but stays fairly downtempo.
*2. A more traditional sound voice/tabla/drone. Cool.
*3. Starts slow, picks up. A blend of classic & funk. Nice.
4. Indian jazz varying tempos w/piano/vox/tabla/beats.
*5. A jazz standard w/an Indian touch. Great perc. Nicely lively.
6. Slow traditional drone. Nice vocals.
7. Another traditional sound, but with an ambient kind of feel.
*8. Fast solo for tabla & bells. Very well played.
9. Jazz w/a hint of funk. Indian w/a hint of jazz. Mid/uptempo.
10. Solo bass. Spare, rather quiet, :58 can lead right into 11.
*11. Another jazz standard. Upbeat, funky, a nice groove.
