A good compilation of traditional Syrian music representing classical Arab styles. Featuring Zein Al-Jundi as a lead female singer accompanied by an orchestra including the typical instruments such as oud (the Arab lute-like instrument), qanun (a flat harp-like instrument), nay (a reed flute), violins, percussion and a chorus (of
female voices in most songs). Songs are either mid-tempo or a bit faster (3,6,7,9,12,13). All tracks are equally good; Try 4,7,8,12 and 13. Songs end before designated time, with no intermission between them, and often even merge.

Prominent tracks:
3) A long orchestral intro leading to a long qanun solo.
*4) Slower, enchanting rhythm.
5) Begins with a nice violin solo.
*7) A very catchy tune. Central role for the darbukkah (the Arab tablah)
*8) Opens with a beautiful oud solo.
9) Opens with the nay and orchestra. Nice qanun solo later.
*12) A nice oud solo.
*13) Another catchy tune. Starts slow but changes 30 sec into the song.
