Punk, smart and simple, with surprise elements dotted in – cool cool stuff! 3 guys from Southern Cal. MPH or Rangar can give you the exact punk sub-genre and direct influences. I can just say, clear Dead Kennedys, Cal punk 78-80 influence.
*KICK*ASS*.
Play them all, in this order: 2, 3, 6, 1, 4,
http://neonmaniacs.net/

1. ** Fast, short, and loud. Electro Shock! **
2. *** Mid/fast, hammering, vicious riffs, two points for the synth ornament! ***
3. *** Great rock tune, punk delivery, fucking hit! ***
4. * Sex Pistols, fast, drums pushed way back, but who needs them. Kills me nice indeed! *
5. ** Surfy, fast, near-spoken vox, the stuff! **
6. *** A punk anthem. Awesome restrained guitar solo. This is the roof dropper! ***

P.S. Named after a movie? (Neon Maniacs, 1986: “A group of teenagers in San Francisco discover a nest of homicidal monsters living in a tower of the Golden Gate Bridge, but when they try to tell authorities, no one believes them”).
