DJ Jester The Filipino Fist & Quad Rod – Table For One

DJ Jester returns with an album of breakup music, depressingly funny stuff. Think DJ Shadow or RJD2 in an El Paso honky tonk, the kids at the bar crying in their Red Bulls. Put together over a couple of days, it gets a little ragged by the end, but don’t miss the hidden track!

1. FCC!! Twangy lonely rock, with FCC-laden samples at the end. Fade this one out early.
*2. Despondent phone conversation over despondent funk
*3. Instrumental electro-country
4. Toy synth instrumental pop, slow fade at the end
5. Hopeful mellotron & acoustic guitar
6. Slow 80s beat
7. FCC – quick fuck at the start, then rambling shoutouts
8. Loungey cutups
*9. Pretty acoustic ballad w/ electronics
*10. Funky muffled wah
*11. Bored bass riff ends the album, but fast forward to (-2:00) for what has to be by far the best hidden track I’ve ever heard.
