Solid set from the GSB trio with some added muscle provided by Ken Vandermark. Nice twisty modern bop heads with some great soloing all around. **1. Slow burn, starts soft w/ bass solo and builds *2. Lighter, more Dolphyesque *3. Jazzy slow clarinet-led swing *4. Complicated, speedy composed. Excellent solos 5. Wild angular improv, lots of mood changes *6. Nice ballad **7. Great bouncy theme | ||
