Electroputas – 3 Japanese (by way of NYC) punkfunk with a laundry list of influences: Krautrock beats, Deerhoof style quirky lyrics, and hippie Boredoms jams for starters. This is good stuff - the album is really well put together, but for some reason it’s not as good as all the namedropping might indicate. 1. Freakout babble fades into #2 *2. Noisy Krauty groove **3. Clean, pulsing throb 4. Crazy rocknroll 5. Just whistling and drums - sparse *6. Trippy reverbed out groove 7. Slow & spacey *8. Epic rock track 9. Short chant intro (play w/ 10) *10.
