Reviewed 2005-03-23
Soft-spoken vocals, often melancholy and lots of good
acoustic guitar. Generally medium paced and rather spooky.
The best songs are 1 and 2, 3-5 are also good and 6 isn’t
that good. Just play in the order they’re recorded

1. Guitar/vocal and a simple, relentless beat. Haunting and pretty. A bit of creepy violin and keyboards thrown in.
2. Nice acoustic guitar work, somewhat sparse vocals, howling and spooky strings.
3. Acoustic guitar and vocals with a bit of a story, switches to distorted, echoing guitar and psychedelic keyboard reminiscent of the 60’s.
4. Simple guitar rhythm with vocals first half. Second half a progressively intricate piece of guitar work.
5. Is this about a serial killer? Dark humor or genuinely scary, I’m not sure.
6. Loud persistent drone with light guitar work. Personally, I’d pass on this one.
