First single off the new Chemical Brothers album due out in March. Getting banged out by everyone who knows how to turn on a turntable right now. Don’t sleep! The flip is great, too, and both tunes feature the legendary Q-Tip (from A Tribe Called Quest). Certainly falls on the more radio-friendly side of what the Chems have done; call it “crossover” or “mature”….but it’s still Chems, and it’s still sick!

Galvanize: Dramatic string riff throughout, and lots of rhyming by Q-Tip. Heavy hip hop influence, but with the trademark Chems grit to it.

Rize Up: Classic Chems breakbeat track, driven by wobbly eastern synth riff. Q-Tip on this one but more sparse vocals than the A-side (just a small sample repeated)
