Redwood City’s own riff monsters...er merchants take over KZSU and create some crazy grinding, prog, heavy (mostly) instrumental jams that really sound like nothing else around. It’s not ‘math rock” nor “jam band” stuff - it’s just pure riff worship & heavy rock improv.
((((1)))) WNL Intro by Chief, brutal “grind-prog”
((((2)))) West Coast power violence by way of prog & psych wah-wah pedaling.
(((3))) Starts with 9/11 samples-Tasteless? Dodgy? A tribute to those who perished? You decide. Mid-paced doom rider instro jam, crazy soloing.
((((4)))) KILLER groove, very doom & way Sabbath-ilcious!
((((5)))) Random 9/11 & post-9/11 anthrax story samples, acoustic strumming with death metal vocals(!?)
((((6)))) Flapping, repetitive waves, Arabic music samples, sci-fi-doom-prog weirdness. I like!
((((7)))) Starts with a fight in Outer A! (Huh?) LOTS OF FCCs. CUT THIS PART OUT & forward it to: -7:20. Full scale metallic, prog-psych epic.
((((8)))) Random jammin’ like a loose version of Tarantula Hawk mixed with some oddball psych guitar mastery.
((((9)))) Silly grindcore/powerviolence & early 70’s styled keyboards add a dash of Redwood based home lab psychoblins.
(((((10))))) Random sample, total progger violence attack complete with electronic squeals, feedback, giant riffs & cowbell !
